My entry for contest. The theme was "protect" and although my instincts warred with me to do something GajeelxLevy, I had the urge to draw this instead. I feel that this is one of the best relationships in the entire FT universe and I wanted to show it.

I tried to keep the style as close to the original as possible. The only spirits I have are Lucy's Zodiac. I would have loved to do the other stellar spirits, but there's no room left and these are the ones that fight for her. Capricorn is not included because he hasn't technically fought for Lucy yet.

I will be selliing prints of this at ACEN. Most likely 11x17 as the composition just kept getting longer and longer and longer and condensing it to a 8.5x11 would look awful!
